adam the car is completely rust free that i can find. is a real 29k mile car. the body is in excellent it has a small scraped indention about a foot long on the pass door where it looks like the lady got against something and there is a small blister chip on the hood. it could use a respray but the paint is shiny and smooth for the most part other than that and the seal in the trans thats leaking and im not 100% thats the source of the leak there car is near perfect.
whats the best way to link them adam sent me some other day and they are attachments on the site. i only other one i have one on my trailer. i did take video of my trip but its not finished been slowly trying to make some yt content of me just messing with stuff. ill link it when i can.
thanks im super excited to have it. i havent rested to easy since my other car was lost. just eat at me since it was mine and i lost it tragically. i will do a few mods but nothing really changing anything just mostly light engine mods.
Some folks don’t know this, but the 71 and 72 Centurion Formal Coupes have a unique vinyl top and rear window treatment. The rear window is smaller in size than the LeSabre coupe. In 73, the centurion coupe no longer had its own rear window. It was the same as the LeSabre. If you look closely, you may be able to faintly see the outline of an insert that goes all the way around the rear window.
I think I posted this one a month or so ago, but his sale myst gave fallen through-it’s listed again… in case you want two! https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1283974972422873/?mibextid=6ojiHh Patrick
pat i actually bought that tan car. i cant really swing two. looks like a decent car. but i stole this tan one for what i got it. its in way better shape. 3k and its 30k mile car. only issue is a leaking seal on the trans.
weird question i know lesabres came slick top as mine was one but two tone. but centurions and electras did they? my centurion has the same plug around the rear window but has vinyl roof. im going to have the top painted gloss black either way just cause vinyl is so rough on the metal. just wondering since ive never seen a slick top one. that one looks to be oem vinyl top too as the trim is not polished like my lesabre was and looks to had some body work around the the edges of the sail panels where the other trim was.
71-72 Centurion formal coupes ALWAYS had a vinyl top for the reason of hiding the plug. Their top and rear window trim was also color coordinated to the top color.
i thought so im guessing same for electras. it looks like it could be polished out if need be. i think the gloss black on that tan will pop. the car does need a repaint. it was repainted some years back and not the best but not the worst job. there is some filler in the right quarter but no rust just looks like old lady bumped something.
