Looking for input on what direction to go in re-wiring from others experiences. I’m leaning towards Painless. I will be running a sniper system, electric fans, aftermarket gauges and stereo. Thanks in advance for the input.

I bought all of mine from Todd. I believe he sells Lectric Limited. All the ends are set for factory pieces though. I also got a diagram and had it blown up to about 3’x4’ and then labeled every wire. That Made it quite simple to install. Everything seamed to be of high quality.

I too installed a new engine wiring harness from Todd. Great fit, plug and play for my 455/turbo 400 transplant. These Lectric harnesses are great for stock replacement, not sure when you start adding EFI etc. That starts to become a much more custom install.

Yes EFI changes things a bit. I did make a custom harness from the fuse block connector. Had to remove the resistor wire for ignition input for starters. Painless seems to lean more to what I need.

You could probably skip the Engine Harness and build one to fit your build. All the other harnesses are probably still better route to go than "custom".

IF you're doing a Dakota Digital Dash then you might want to skip the Factory Dash Harness as well. Otherwise I would retain it.

We do LS Conversions as well so we have a pretty good understanding of the wiring needed but it really depends on the Build and how far from "stock" you're going.

I have to evaluate what I have/need first before I move forward. It’s hard to tell with the mess I have. Car was converted to gauges. Only temp works no oil pressure or fuel. 2538FF18-1E17-49F6-B43E-C65E5D54F01E.jpeg
