Hi everyone, SO much great info here in the forum!!! Been looking thru and learning so much. I am the proud new owner of a 1972 Skylark Custom Convertible 350-2. I will be picking up the car in the next few days and driving it home. Car has been in my family since it was drove off the lot in 71! I already order a dual exhaust kit and that will be the first "mod" to the car ever!! This baby is all original. From what I have been reading and what I'm looking to update will most likely be the ignition/electrical system, brakes, carb/intake manifold, 200 4R transmission and rear gears. Will be using the buick as secondary car / daily driver and looking to get best tune and performance out of the car with out going wild on the engine (internal parts, new cam, pistons, etc). What have some of you done? Some good combos? Test and tried results? Im new to the Buick scene and cant wait to become a part of the community.
