I wonder if it is this same one for sale in Orlando: https://orlando.craigslist.org/cto/d/orlando-1972-buick-gransport-stage-barn/7524477003.html I'm not a member of that group, so I could not see it either...
Black w/white top/interior orig. Interesting combo. Would certainly be striking but I think I'd prefer a black top.
I agree, interesting color combination of black paint and white vinyl top. There were only 2 produced in that configuration. I've got a friend looking for a GS project car so I'm trying to get him to buy it but he doesn't like that combination. Apparently the buyers in '72 didn't like it either. Personally I like it a lot. The trim tag shows 19 A (black paint white top)
I think it would look good but kinda like my painted top car, I'd have to see a mockup of it to be sure. Certainly would be different.
Here is a mockup for you. This is a '70 GS455 what came to the GS Nats that has black paint, white vinyl top, & white interior. I really like it a lot. If I didn't already have a lifetime of project cars, and less than 1/2 of a lifetime left to live, I'd be interested in buying the black/white '72.
