In a hunt for dual-hump crossmember for 83' Electra.

Custom is not a problem, but id rather save time if theres readily available solution. Is 77-90 B-body frame narrower, or something else that prohibits it?
Its just that in my mind, a dual exhaust is synonymous to V8, even if muffled down.

Any pointers and help appreciated, thanks.

Unless a pre 1974 crossmember fits, you'll need a aftermarket crossmember. You need one that was used on pre catalytic converter vehicles. I'm not aware of any GM vehicles of that era that used a true dual exhaust.

    Two possibilities:
‘94-‘96 Caprice, Impala SS and Roadmasters were offered with dual exhaust; their crossmember may work with some modification.
    Also:
Mid ‘80s to mid ‘90s Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis snd Lincoln Town Car are double hump and are used by the G Body people after modification. Not sure if one would work in a B or C but it’s worth investigating…
