Wow, I've always like the '77 Z28 because in the early 80s one of my parents' best friends had one that he bought new and I used to ride in it a lot. I still think they are good looking cars. His was white like this one. Good luck with your search and post a photo if you find one.

I have memories of my old friend Pete, who had one of these (maybe a '78). He babied that thing beyond all reason.

One night we went out with him and a bunch of friends and he drank too much. This was at a place in Buffalo called Cassidy's which served mixed drinks in pitchers with a straw!

There was talk about who would drive home...

Pete busted out with "nobody is driving my car, except maybe Max". Everyone looked at me like WTF? Anyhow I ended up getting to drive everyone home, although I probably shouldn't have been driving either. He always said, "it's just like a lear jet, but without the cabin pressurization."

I bought a 78 for my son a few years ago.
Got it to run 14.60 with the bone stock 350 with only a true dual exhaust, and carb/dist work.

I had a 78 Z in high school. I would love to have another one also.

    docgsx It's not a GTX

Can you get the white one to that level for the same money? Interior in the white car looks like it might be trashed. And the orange one is a standard shift to boot! It’d be kinda easy to just buy and drive it. Maybe they’ll take less?

Gotta be a 77 and don't have the buying ability for anything over 12k ,...the roller I could have running in a weekend then paint is obviously no issue for us ..just the cost of interior and transport
