A/C Casing to Firewall Sealant

    What adhesive is used to seal the A/C case to the firewall? I have a roll of butyl tape...would that work?

    Good day I used 3m strip caulk ,its in 1 ft lengths and is a little thinner than butyl part number is 08578 auto body supply stores will have it . it is in a blue box good luck. Tim

    I rolled out the windshield shield sealer ribbon till it was thin then made it flat and used that. worked very well.
