Okay, it has been over a year and I am still missing two Craftsman combination wrenches -- 9/16" and 13 mm. I really would like to have a complete set again. I suppose I could find them on e-bay, but I figured someone here must have spares they would be willing to sell. Hey, it ain't like I'm asking for 10 mm, y'know?
They are selling on e-bay for like 4$-5$ each. That is what I did to put my sets back together. Duane
Struck out at the pawn shops already. However, I did find a missing socket I needed... Just figured why ebay if someone here could use a few bucks.
there MUST be at least a million lost 1/2- 9/16 wrenchs and sockets floating around in carsor in a blackhole somewhere!
I picked up the ones I was missing at Carlisle and Hershey . Usually $2 or $3 . I'm sure you guys in Florida have swap meet all year . Just get the ones that say Forged in USA
I bought a set of craftsman wrenches from the local hardware store a couple years ago to keep in the race trailer. I was pretty disappointed to see they were not USA made anymore. The forging looked like crap too.
It is a truly sad day when Lowes and others are selling the Craftsman line. Sears sold the "name" now all the tools are made over seas and are no better than any Chinese crap available anywhere else.
Are you guys talking about the old style "raised panel" craftsman wrenches? If so, for f sakes, get some better wrenches to use
