I believe we have rules about commentary in classified ads.

Look what you started- a full page of BS and more to come. Let the man complete his set.

But you really ought to delete sean's snide comment as well as the first part of my reply.

I dunno, it lead to a nice conversation about wrench quality and preferences, and this isn't a "for sale" ad, so I think commentary is okay. Personal attacks, not so much.

JW's post is in the for sale section but is stated for the entire classifieds section. I digress. Obviously it started as friendly banter but the thread has turned into the regular snap on vs craftsman debate. Couple that with sean being himself and the original point of the thread is gone. Forty some odd responses and maybe half a dozen pertain to the OP's actual ad. It's the principle of it..

Steve (and others) the one thing to think about, if it matters to you in the accuracy of your needed replacements, measure the length of the wrenches on each side of the needed wrench. The different series obviously had different lengths.. I have a big box of Craftsman wrenches( misfit and yard sale) I can take a look at if you need a specific length.
    Let me know.
As for this thread, do we need the constant complaints? The phrase "let it slide comes to mind" no need to get worked up.

I think Steve appreciated the commentary for the most part. And he found what he was looking for. Nothing wrong with a little debate and some friendly ribbing about wrenches.

I see some comments were deleted including the requirements to be a staff member and the " SNIDE " remarks by one .

Question is : Why even post the " SNIDE " remarks in the first place ??

Sometime later next year I am going to sell off most of my Craftsmen stuff. 98% is all USA vintage stuff. Switching to Snap-On.

Okay, waiting on wrenches to arrive, so I think that problem is solved.

Now who has my @#!$?* hammer?:D

My 3/8” wrench is inside the hood framing on my 68 Coronet R/T. It slipped in there and I can here it slide when I open the hood. I need to replace that one, old USA Craftsman.

Gsgeorge3 sent me the wrenches and they are exactly what I wanted and very much appreciated. He refused payment so I have donated $20 in his name to the board. Thanks man, and welcome to Silver level 2022!

i restock my tools at the flee market. go on sunday after 12 get really good deals cause they want to go home. 10 wrenches for 7 bucks. but bid low. hand-full 50 cents each. alsp you dig for a while they jack up price cause you spent all that time looking. dont like price drop towards the back of pile and come back later. there are plenty more
