53E52E77-2E65-4B56-B4F6-1D846954E31E.jpeg I need this part that bolts to the back of the AIR pump and the hose connects to, I’m guessing it’s a valve of some type. I have everything else just missing this.

Please provide price including shipping to 64064.

Good luck. I suspect that someone here on V8Buick has the part you need laying around and for a good price.

I assume this is going onto your orange '72? I've seen photos of it on FB and it's a gorgeous car. I think the A.I.R. pump will a nice addition.

I *may* have the one from my '72 Electra but all my parts are in a pile of containers in the inlaws basement.
Visiting Sunday so I'll have a dig around then.

    FYI
For anyone installing a A.I.R. setup on a '72 GS big block, the A-body 455 cars DID NOT get the extra support bracket that I have circled here in the photo. The full size Buicks with a 455 DID use the long support arm. This is called out in the Buick assembly manual as well. Sure seems strange doesn't it? You would think that if the pump needs the support brace it would be used in all applications, but that's not how Buick did it in '72. I can think of no logical reason for Buick doing it that way.

There used to be two smog specialists advertising in Hemmings Motor News. Both were in Ohio, as I recall. Have sold pieces to one of them, believe his name is Bill Hodel.

If you find used, make sure it has a good diaphragm in the valve. It does what its called, diverter valve. It diverts the air pumps charge to the atmosphere when the throttle shuts. A bad valve will blow up a set of mufflers in short order.
