A few weeks ago a neighbor called me and he had bought a Ford 3000 diesel tractor that had a bad engine in it.... for $800.... and he wanted to know if I would help him fix it.... while we were talking about it,, The lord impressed me that i should do this job for free.... so I did.... long story short , we got the job done and the engine running good plus the thing rewired because the rats had eat the wires up.... and it ran good and had good oil pressure and good temp readings.... When he asked what he owed me , I told him nothing... he was flabbergasted.... all and all he had $1800 and change in the tractor parts and all..... A month goes by and one night my phone rings and it is him ,,, he says , you want to buy that tractor,,, i said ''how much'' well , he says it is worth $3500 now but you can have it for $2000....so,,, I now have it sitting in my yard , under a good tarp, untill I can build a shed for it....:laugh: The Lord works in mysterious ways.....
I have an early 70's Ford 3000. Its been rock solid and starts every time no matter how long it sits in between uses. Asides from running out of fuel and the nightmare of purging the air out of the lines, Only real issue was a rear axle bearing that locked up out in the middle of a field. Ive been running it on home made Bio for several yrs.
I always believe that what comes around,goes around.You give your time helping others and you will be repaid one day.Sometimes in ways that you cannot even understand.Good for you!
