    Hi folks,

Under the front two hood bumper adjusters there is a cage nut/ 5/16" thread, that fits in from the underside of the core support. The hood bumper adjusters thread up and down in these.

Anybody know if they are being reproduced or where I could get some new ones? Ames doesn't carry them and I don't see them in the Parts Place catalog.

    Thanks!

AMK has them for the 70-72 Skylarks

    Hi folks,

Sorry--Steve assumed correctly it was for 70-72 Skylar, though I would bet they were used in many other years.

Who is AMK? I assume "American Muscle Cars"? Where is their location?

    Thanks, again!

AMK Products Inc. sells resto hardware. I've bought stuff from them, but forgot where they are. They do mail order, min. order $35.00 I think. Google 'em!

    Hi folks,

    Thanks to all who replied!

Yes, it appears that I can get them from Cars or AMK.

I have been out of the Buick "loop" for the past 10 years, ever since I blew up my 455. Just now getting it ready to go.
I had forgotten some of the sources for parts and, as you point out, not EVERY place has EVERY part.

    Thanks, again!
