Beware Of "BIGJOE" Joe Medrano- Resolved

Just a warning for anyone who feels they can trust Joe Medrano "BIGJOE".
Back on June 26th 2021 I sent a $290.00 PayPal payment to Joe Medrano for a "NEW CV Products Mechanical Fuel Pump which to this day I have not received. Joe has chosen to NOT respond to my latest two Private Messages, .... therefore I am sending this warming to anyone that may wish to engage in a transaction with Joe Medrano.

I posted this in the "Parts For Sale" on August 15th as well as sent to Joe Medrano at 6:41 am VIA Private Message:

"Well Joe, After sending you the full payment of $290.00 for one New CV Fuel Pump which included shipping on June 26th 2021 via PayPal, multiple requests for a tracking number which none were ever acknowledged, being told it shipped to the wrong address, then being told it shipped out to me on August 4th 2021, I STILL have not received it nor any tracking number despite my requests for one.
My patience and good faith is running thin, therefore I feel that despite all of that, I deserve an immediate resolution to this unacceptable situation."

No Response from Joe Medrano even though he was shown to be on this forum at 11:30 PM that evening, well after I had sent the Private Message at 6:41 AM earlier that morning.

I posted this in the "Parts For Sale" on August 21st as well as sent to Joe Medrano VIA Private Message:

"Joe, I have sent you the same post as above in a private message. You have been on this forum after that message was sent to you. You have chosen to not respond. At this time I feel the window of opportunity for you to resolve this has lead to refunding me the $290.00 in full immediately".

Still No Response from Joe Medrano.

So since Joe Medrano has chosen to not send me the New CV Performance Fuel Pump, Nor refund my $290.00 he has of mine, Nor respond to my request to resolve this situation, I will have to resort to legal action.

Sorry you are going through that Larry and Thank You for warning.

Having been ripped off several times over the years I would give you one if I had it.

My Dad taught me you have ONE name in your life so do the right thing.

Hope he still comes through for you.

 

I had a couple dealings with this guy. A few years back he would jump in line for literally almost every BBB part that would come up for sale and eventually pass.

Recently he had some headers for sale. It took him a week plus to get pictures and part numbers. The pictures and part numbers didn't add up. I got a bad feeling about the whole thing..

 

I will be surprised if this situation actually turns out to be anything other than lack of communication.

I have done business with Joe, and he does tend to disappear at times, has more than a little case of automotive ADD, but always came thru for me.

And he has bought and sold a whole ton of stuff here.. without incident, that I am aware of..

I guess we will see..

I just wanted to apologize to Larry and a few other guys that just purchased items from me a month or so ago.

I used our shipping department from work to ship all these items out and some how they completely mixed up the boxes and shipped them to our actual work customers.

It has been a huge hassle trying to get all 4 of these items located and shipped back.

I have 3 our of the 4 and located the other one in Oregon and it should be on its wat back.

Again I am very sorry for the misunderstanding and apologize sincerely.

I provided my own UPS shipping label for the carburetor that I bought from Joe about a month ago. It still hasn’t been shipped yet.

 

Hopefully, as JW said, it all works out & everyone gets their stuff. At least Joe chimed in here.

Just want to thank everyone who chimed in including Joe Medrano, .... Though after "Multiple Requests" for tracking numbers (Which would have demonstrated any validity) I have continuously been ignored. I hardly find that to have any connection to a communication issue.

Therefore I remain "Adamantly Firm" on having my $290.00 refunded IMMEDIATELY, just as my payment to Joe Medrano nearly "2-Months Ago" was originally Immediate.
So Please Refund My Money Joe, ...... and after that transaction is completed we can go our own ways.

I'll offer that I bought an engine from Joe recently and he was nothing but great to work with. I would concur though if your transaction was unreasonably delayed you deserve that your refund request is honored.

 

Certainly understandable Larry. I'm sure Joe would rather send you the part but hopefully he'll do as you wish or maybe offer up a discount to try and consummate the deal.

I always tell guys "no hurry" in shipping my stuff out & that I wish I needed it now to put my car together, lol. Almost to a person on here everyone ships out very quickly. I am waiting on one part that's been a few weeks but to the seller's credit, it took me a few weeks to get him a MO/shipping label, it's a big part to get boxed up, he's been communicative, and I've continually said no hurry.

I've had my shipping guys screw stuff up in this way both in my business & when giving them my personal stuff to handle as Joe did. It's unbelievably time consuming & expensive mess to sort out.

 

Larry I can definitely refund you the money asap. Just send me your Venmo or PayPal info.

Again I am really sorry for all the confusion with the shipping from work.

Joe is clearly not blameless here, but....

Maybe if the OP had posted something less explosive, he might still have gotten a response, cleared the air, worked it all out civily, and ended up with the part he obviously wanted.

Just sayin'.
