Is it possible to add a 'View new posts in the previous 3 days' again.

It was a handy feature :beer

I agree...I've been looking for that feature or a feature that let's me select how many days back I want to go. Right now all I seem to be able to do is "new posts".
Thanks for all your hard work!

After some use two functions seem to be more difficult to facilitate, and I prefer the previous method.

    1. Thread subscription.

    2. Posting pictures.

I'll third that...currently, if I log in, can't browse all of the new posts, then have to log out, when I come back, I can't get back to those "new" posts I missed the first go-round. That's what I used to use the "...previous 3 days" button for.

Also - I really appreciate all the time/effort you put into this board!

I am having trouble with the new posts feature. When I click it I get the new posts only for the last few minutes, not since I last logged on. Do I have something set wrong on my computer? :puzzled:

I am not crazy about the new look. But that should be easily changed as needed.

I just wish we didn't lose so much data. Dragon Wagons section lost 6-7 months worth of post. Ouch..........

Doo Wop Where were you in '62?

    Just Wondering

if anyone has figured out why "New Posts" disappear if you leave the site for an hour or so. There were 2 pages and a bit at 5:30 this AM. Read a few and went off site for a while. Came back on...only 9 new posts, rest had vanished.

Also any news on increasing font size?

    Many thanks.

cray1801 Too much is just right.

Feedback, maybe some of this has been mentioned but here goes:

    - I liked the old view new posts and view post from last three days
    - How do you subscribe to threads? I'm getting email to previously subscribed threads but am confused when trying to do this now :Do No: I like to see the subscribed threads come up automatically when I log on, can you still do that? Or do you have to click on the notification type below?

I'm one of those guys once you get use to one way have a hard time with the new ways :Dou: Thanks.

On pretty much all of the board pages, there is a "links" bar that runs across the page, starting with "User CP". About halfway across, in the middle of the list of link, is one that says New Posts, in between Calendar and Search. Just click it. The Last 3 Days Posts function is not available at this time. That was a custom change that Mike B had done on the old board, and hopefully will find time to implement on this new software version.

How do I get a picture of my car next to my name ?

I notice the drawings and pictures next to peoples names and in their text and would like to know how to do the same ? Do I need a program for this or do you do this ? Thanks.

The pic by the user names is called an avatar. You need to have the pic on your computer hard drive, and resized to no more than 150x150 pixels. Then in the User CP section, you have options available to upload a custom avatar. If you don't have software to change picture sizes, you can download free software on the web, one is at www.lviewpro.com You can also email a pic file to me and I can resize it and email it back to you for your use. dave.gramlow@horvick.com

    Starting a new thread

I swear above anything that I new how to start a new thread, but somehow I cannot for the life of me from the startup page when you sign in figure out how to start this thread of mine, HELP PLEASE, this is getting annoying.

Andrew, on the main forums page, click on the forum that you want to post in. Then on the left side of the forum page, just above the list of current threads, is a box labeled NEW THREAD. That's where you want to go.

Currently no spell check here, Danie'. The old software, Mike had installed a hack for it, but we don't have it on the new version.

I've noticed that you can't just hit the refresh button to see new posts. You have to go back to the home page and hit the new posts button again.
Also, miss having the mark all posts read button at the bottom. Gotta go back to the home page to mark them read.
Alot more back & forth than before.

Dale, just click on the Quick Linksoption on the right side, in there you can mark forums as read. Also the New Posts link is visible on pretty much every page, including the results page after you've hit New Posts already. No need to go back to the main page.
