Bowling Green - Who is going and where to stay?

Unfortunately I am not going to make it to BPG this year, but I am hoping to make it to the GS Nationals in BG.

When I went last year, there wasn't a "BPG" type atmosphere, or at least if there was it, I didn't find it. At BPG there is a lot of after hours bench racing and hanging out at the Hampton Inn, etc. This is part of what makes this event so much fun, getting to meet and talk to a lot of Buick people.

While I realize that the KY weather in late October makes parking lot hang outs difficult, what about hanging out inside a hotel lounge/bar? Is anyone doing this? If so, at what hotel(s)?

    Thanks in advance,

    Chris

Chris we are planning on going we just need to sort out some scheduling issues.
We usually stay at the camp ground, but I think this year will be a motel year. Truck, trailer and motel is more economical than the RV and trailer.
As in the past we just show up wherever the people are at, if we are still awake:laugh:.
The time with friends is definitely what makes the trip worthwhile:beer .

The Indiana Chapter usually stays at the News Inn, but there has been talk of upgrading. Like usual, things change!
You should fly into Cincy and drive one of my cars  The 68 made the trip to Charlotte and back without a hiccup @104*
    Cheers,
    Ted

The News Inn, Red Roof Inn and Country Inn and Suites is all within 100 yards of each other and located off of Scottsville Road.

We are always outside doing something. :Brow:

I rarely make it back in the room until 1am or later every night.

    Come on down Chris.

Carolina boys (and girls) stay at the News Inn. Not the Ritz but it's tradition for us. Will be in the parking lot weather permitting.

We stayed at the La Quinta last year, pretty nice hotel and a free breakfast for $74/night. May just do that again....

We stayed at the Drury and walked over to where everyone was hanging out at the News Inn, Red Roof Inn and Country Inn. But watch out for those Mustang boys doing burn-outs, letting off fireworks, and stating fires in the field.........
