Let me know if anyone may be bringing an extra set of drag slicks or the like, say 26 inch that I might be able to borrow for one run down the track?? I would be most appreciative. My first time, rather not run on my street tires. What does the weather look like?

    Johnny,

I'm so sorry I can't make it but my son-in-law and my birthday falls on June 30th and we have jamboree planned at my daughters house in Jamesport.

That's the only date (june 25th) we can get my whole crew together.
My daughters house is on the beach so it Bar-B-Q time and jetskis, fishing and fun with the 11 grand kids for me.

You all have a fun safe day at the track and we'll see you in Ohio.

    wait....did you say ONE run?

Weather is rain, wind, tornados, dust storms and wildfires. Time to man up prima donna. Fix your wipers and get there.

Weather is questionable, 50% chance of showers. But I can attest that they have generally been wrong on the forcast in the CT/MA/eastern NY area the last few days. Could go good, or really really bad.

    I'm still planning on coming.

    Jason,
Spoke with Phil & he said you can borrow his Brand NEW MT Drag Radials. I believe they are 275/50R15. 26" tall. See you Saturday rain or shine.

Wow, brand new! That is super generous of Phil. That would be great. Do I need special length lugs, or my stock lugs will work? Rather the studs?

Anyone willing to take my car for a spin down the track? Of course I wanna do some racing but this will be my first drag race event and I am sure I won't be achieving the best numbers possible out of my car...Then again how hard is it to launch a high 15 second car:pp

My new Qjet has led me to believe my fuel system is not up to par so I hope I can fix that before saturday!

:Dou: Didn't realize Lebanon valley was upstate and not in Long Island, I think I am even more likely to go now:3gears:

Any idea what will happen if things are rained out? I am forgoing a days sleep to come so I want to make sure I'm not making the trip for nothing:)

Spoke to the track manager an hour ago & he says everything is still on. If it is a rainout I will see if he can get us in later in the year. As soon as I hear something I will post it up. I am leaving my home at 6am.

Yeah, really too bad. I was half way there when Bob Christo flagged me down coming from other direction. Thanks Bob, great to see you. Race car looks awesome. John Sr. I much appreciate the call. Headin home now, and would you know, sun is trying to poke through the clouds. Phil, thanks so much for almost letting me borrow your slicks! The NE GS/GN clubs rocks!
