    It wasn't me.

    SSDD!

Your post prompted me to call him. He sold it out from under the conversation I was having with him, in which I expressed bonafide interest, while I patiently waited for the pics, and without calling me back. Just a reminder that the rest of the world is not as ethical as this board.

Yup, I had first contacted him a few days ago and asked for pictures and better description as well, but didn't hear back... Oh well, at that price it wasn't bound to last long. I really hope it went to someone who'll look after it.

I think there was something a little fishy..maybe really a well-detailed 143K? The owner says to me "I was just going to junk it after pulling it out of storage, but somebody said try Craigslist...". Huh? What kind of idiot would junk a low-mileage, practically perfect loaded car like that, which he had lovingly cared for and/or stored since he bought it in 1971? Didn't add up.

In any event, I agree - I hope it is real, and went to an appropriate steward.

Well, the thoughts that crossed my mind initially was he was getting a lot of attention and he decided it was priced too low so took it off, or someone bought it cash in hand and will ebay it for profit. I'll be watching out for this one to reappear!

Also a lot of regular folks would think it is "just" an old station wagon and think that no one would want it. I can picture my dad for example putting a car like that for sale for $2,000. A lot of folks don't know what is a reasonable price.

I kinda like that little grocery getter. Not much for the paint scheme though.

Rob you're doing a great job with this project you've started with the craigslist vehicles. :TU:

I am selling my sweet 'Lil Red Wagon. I bought it recently from the original owners' son, who has the same name. He has had it for about 5 years in storage and doesn't have a drivers license. A receipt in the glove box shows an oil change in '98 with only about 2000 mi driven since then. I just rubbed it out today and it looks stunning! It turns heads and gets thumbs up all the time.:TU: I need to update my pics. This wagon is Very, Very straight and Very, Very clean.

I can't post the link because of my low post count. It is listed on the Portland, OR craigslist under "1967 Buick Special Wagon"

I am busy moving but will email pics on request.

I'm not sure how to price it, do you think I should be asking more?:Dou:
