car went to paint yesterday

    thanks, it wasnt even an issue on the color, i love sun burst yellow. yes they are doing a good job so far, besides the paint and body work they are going to rebuild the hinges install new door strikers and install the new weatherstripping. if they do a good job, the "little brother" grand national goes in for paint next.

    IMHO leave the Lark emblems off they look funny with a GS hood. If you dont do it now you will have a hard time matching color later

    i thought about that, but i decided to put them back on. i am proud that my car is a skylark 350. but at the same time i cant stand the skylark hood.
    cant wait til i get it back so i can put the new interior in it including the black sport wheel i got from ya:beers2:

    Looks good from here. Someone went through alot of trouble to dis-assemble as much as possible.

    100% agree, you make sure nothing gets lost/ damaged. plus you gain the knowledge of how to re-install the interior.

    vinyyl top installed

    picked up the front buckets, back seat, sun visors, headrests from the upholstry guy yesterday, he installed the vinyl top, headliner, sail panels.

    well i entered the skylark in an all buick car show in tucson last weekend. just for fun for me, nothing serious.

    well yesterday in the mail i get an envelope with a certificate in it:eek2:

    im super pumped!
