Cars on your "realistic" wish list

Paul both of your selections there are cool. My favorite one is number #2. I am going to seriously try to sell my 68 camaro this summer to buy a 69 Pace Car. That is one of my favorite muscle cars in stock form and would be fun driving it to the Pure Stock drags. Tami, Yuengling is the best! I have one more case in the garage and I'm out. I need a good reason to go east again with the super duty and load the bed up with the stuff! "East bound and down loaded up and truckin" or I think thats how the Jerry Reed song goes.

Since I already have the '69 H/O, I want the '68 H/O for the garage pair. But I want one of the 52 post cars with the steep gear in back and no P/S if I can find one. I want it to be the bare bones Mc Nasty!!!

I also want a W30, but I want a '67. Tuning up 3x2 should be fun. Man Petal would be more challenging, but I am up for it. Maybe Jimmy can show me the 2 boot shuffle.

'68 Barricuda Formula S-- I came home from the hospital in a '68 Barricuda and I have always regretted Mom getting rid of her ride!!! She was the coolest teacher in the parking lot with that car!!!

And I need one cruser-- '62-'63 Catalina. No need for the 421, a 389 would suffice!!

LOL...someone got my kids a "Smokey and the Bandit" dvd for Christmas, and my 2 boys have about worn it out! They fall asleep nearly every night watching that thing...:laugh:

I don't think one of the 54 serialized 66 W30's is anywhere near a realistic list. L69 3 x 2 cars are much more realistic in price. One year only option...

its about ready for primer and then it gets grabber blue with the stripes
c/f grabber hood, f/g 70 front and rear bumpers, billet grille, sport mirror, and ...302 by april/may

I used to work with a guy who drove a Maverick. It was painted, appropriately enough, what I will call Safety Orange -- the same color as a traffic cone. Appropriate, because you were as likely to find it sitting still in the middle of the road as moving.

 

I always feel bad for the Comet GT owners of the same era. Everybody would come up and ask if that was "one of them Maverick Grabbers"? I had a buddy with a 4 speed Comet GT 302 that heard that ALL the time at car shows. :rant:

Sort of like owning a 1973 Dart Sport and everybody thinks it is a Duster (~inside~ Mopar humor)......or a Dart GTS that people think it is a GTO.uzzled: uzzled:
