Any word on the '66 skylark convert?

 

That '66 Skylark ragtop is there and I have to apologize for not getting any pics. Thanks for reminding me! I will have to get over there Monday and get pics! Wayne called me today to tell me that he just hauled in a '50 Buick Super Riviera 2dr hardtop parts car plus a mid 70's LeSabre convertible . Ted

I live nearby and got to go there Monday. I can check to see if the 340 emblems are there. Ted

 

I have some pics that I can email. The 340 emblems were gone. I asked my friend if he sold them and come to find out,someone swiped them since last week. My friend is very peo'd! He will not let anyone go into the yard now. A thief stole the GS and 340 emblems.Broke the studs off of the driver side 340 emblem. Ted

 

probably pried em off with a screwdriver to put on his mopar :blast: takin em is bad enough,but breaking them is unforgivable :rant: thanks for following up for me :beer

Man, I don't know why I do this to myself. Might have to plan a trip down there but don't know when I'll have time. Are they in immediate danger of being crushed?

The cars are probably safe for about 3 months. My friend just had the crusher in and cleaned house. He is getting better. Cars that are really bad or scheduled to be squashed, he is now removing almost EVERY part that might be good. My old 65 GranSport body is sitting next to the green '66 vert and the '67 GS 340 car is behind the '66. A really decent '64 Grand Prix is there being parted. 389/auto car.No a/c. Has 8lug rims and remote mirror.

 

Ted, Any chance this '66 is still there? How long a drive is this from atlanta?
