I am installing a four-speed in my 1970 Buick Skylark. I am running a mildly modified 350. At the same time I'm putting in a set of full-length headers. I'm sure the clutch linkage components are going to get hotter because of the headers. The question I have is should I use a high temperature grease to lubricate the clutch linkage, ball studs and plastic ball stud seats? Wondering if the plastic ball stud seat are going to hold up to the temperature increase. I am wondering if anyone running a Skylark with a clutch and headers is having problems with these parts.
    Thanks

Not a problem. I use Castrol pyroplex red grease. It doesn't run when hot. Works well.
