. I just took a floor tilt from a 72 and installed it in my 70. Reversed the plug, wire color to wire color, but I'm missing a few plugs on the end. When I crank it, nothing happens. Starter is good, used an external trigger to fire car initially. Pics to follow.

    Am I missing something?

What do you mean " Reversed the plug " which plug ?? . Hate to pull teeth but more info needed . # 1 do all the lights and turn signals work ?? When you say you "crank it " what do you mean . You turn the key and the engine doesn't turn ?? Then look at the neutral safety switch . Misaligned ?? Non-existent ??

My first guess would be the ignition switch needs adjusted. the rod probably isn't moving the plunger far enough.

I'm sticking with the Neutral Safety switch . The rod from the trans still has to connect to the lower steering column to be able to " rotate " the the tang that moves the Combination Neutral / back-up light switch . Misadjusted ??? Lets see what the OP comes back with .
