converting to an alternator in a 62 skylark

    Is that broken end the pulley end or back end? Is it aluminium? What is part number of genny? Should be either 1102235 or1102237.

    1102310 is the part number on my generator. And it's on the pulley side

    That end plate is only used on 10 generator numbers. It may be a hard one to find. Is there any chance you can have it welded? If I remember correctly it is aluminium.

    Yes I'm taking it to work tomorrow and going to try and weld it up, and yes your correct its aluminum. Wish me luck trying to keep it as much to stock as possible.
