Where are the Imperial pix? Does it have the gold lion 413?

Yeah, the Imperial has the 413 and a/c. It's a LeBaron sedan with the small rear window. I'm gonna try and get the rest of the pics. I'm trying to get the '66 442 ragtop from the owner. It has the original 400 and a Muncie 4spd. Even has the factory tach on the left side of the dash and I think it has a 3.90 posi rear.

Very cool. Looks a lot like old car city in Georgia. What a goldmine that place is.

I keep dropping in at Old Car City frequently, but have not been able to go in the big yard tour yet. There is a couple hundred cars in the front section, though.

Wow! Too bad that Olds ragtop is so rotten! Would be a sweet ride if it was mint!

The engine pic is of the Olds 442. That car is a goldmine of parts. The guy was redoing it years ago, but let it sit outside uncovered for 10 years or more, just like the '55 Cadillac. These were store inside the first few years he had them. The 442 was running and driving when he got it in the early '90's, but now the thieves, weather and time have taken their toll. The frame is rotted in half just under the driver door. It was dark turquoise with black inside/top. He has the rechromed bumpers still in the wrapper inside. I just want it for parts. I want the tach dash for my '66 442 ragtop. The Imperial was a lot nicer looking than it is now of course. Many of these cars came from Bhelm's Cars and Music of Yesteryear museum in Sarasota when they had a big auction in 1995.

    Ted,
Send me a PM with your info please. I have a lead on a private yard in Sylvester, Ga. you might want to look into. I was there 6 years ago and the guy had lots of cars all around the property.

The '57 Caddy under roof...do you remember the overall general condition? Do you think he'll sell it. Thanks.

I'm sure the owner would sell it. It is a '57 Fleetwood 60 Special. It was driven to where it's parked. Someone broke into the building and relieved most of the cars of their radiators, including that '57. The body is very solid and chrome isn't bad at all. Original interior is still very decent. I think the mileage is under 100K. It used to be on display in a museum in Sarasota.
