Core Support needed

I am in need of a core support for my 1970 GSX. Does anyone know of one of the AMD Repops or a nice clean original one for sale ? I am unsure of what it would take to fix mine but Dave strongly suggested I find one to replace mine.

I have 2, 71 Dated core supports, NOS. I understand it is a minor modification to make them work.

 

You will need 12 of these if you use a ‘71-‘72 core support.

 

I just had this 70 hauled up from Georgia because of the rust-free body. Even the radiator support is mint. I need this for my 455 4-speed car,BUT if you happen to find another 1970 support that is dated earlier,I would trade you. This is a 05C car and my 4-speed car was built September/69. Date on support is 020.

Thank you Tim, I am going to try and see if I can get a correct 70 but if not I will have to put a 71-72 on.

 

How bad is yours that it can't be fixed?

 

Mine could probably be repaired but I would like to have one ready to put in.

 

Can I have your old one when ya find a nicer one?

I have an AMD one but we're quite a ways away and I don't want to deal with shipping it. (Brand new, never taken out of the box)

Thank you Doug I appreciate the offer but I am hopeful of finding a repop AMD one and save some $$$ for many other things I need to buy for the car.

Thats looks like a clean 1970 core support. Thank you for getting pics of it and offering it up for sale.

 

Just a FYI for members. Todd has decided to keep his AMD core support in case he needs it later on for his personal car. He jumped the gun on offering up his AMD core support and after thinking about it decided he better save it. No hard feelings. I am sure Todd will be able to help me out with many parts later on when I am putting this GSX back together.
