My 72 Skylark seems to have had some alterations done to the Back up light wiring. The Buick manual states the both Rt and Lt lamps should be 1157 so I would think both back up light sockets should be identical but mine are not. Both appear to be replacement sockets of different styles . Can anyone give me a current part number for the correct replacement. When I do a search I get multiple answers, some for single filament and some for dual.

Single filament, 1156 bulb for 1970 cars. The 1971 and 1972 Chassis manuals list 1157 bulbs for the back up lights.

Well the difference between the 70 models vs 71 & 72 would explain why I get different answers when I search even though I always search 72. Rock Auto doesn't have any in stock but may I can find them somewhere else now that I have the part number.
    Thanks for your help.

Just order the Standard motor Products one. It's the same socket, probably made in the same place.:)
