Holy cow! I bought a set of these back in the '80's because I got tired of losing the black handled ones...that was before the neon orange and greens became widely available. I used the hell outa them and now the handles are super light yellow pearl.
Are these really that collectible?

I sold a set unboxed for $495, because I saw a set in box sell for $595.
Another set in box went for $1,700 & now this $2,400 set that hasn't sold. I never used mine as the pretty pearl handles would've gotten greazy.
