Ok silly question maybe, but I've just rebuild and blasted my door hinges. Tomorrow I'd like to put primer on them, but how do you guys do it when they're assembled already? First a little in "closed" position and finish them in "open" or only in the "open" position?
Or am I overthinking this? Obviously you only see them when the door is open.

Paint them in the open position and call it a day

On the assembly line they were painted on the car with no fenders. Not sure if anyone opened the doors to get inside? Logic says yes as door jamb got painted.
