Well, Damit. It's the blue sticker with the vin on it . https://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-70-71...295595?hash=item23e8f610ab:g:6VcAAOSwJ5pdmNMY
The problem is that many of the people selling them do a poor job with the reproduction. If they offer to include your specific info (VIN and date) they also often use the wrong font and locations because they aren't experts on all the various brands and might do it like an Olds, or Chevy which are all slightly different. I finally just had to start making my own after being so disappointed with the ones I bought.
Here is an example: This is the original on a '70 GS we have and you can then compare it to the one I just created myself. then below you can also see the disappointing decal i got from Jim Osborne which had the wrong shape, wrong size wrong color, etc. To match the font style of the original Buick decal I had to mix 4 or 5 different fonts in MS Publisher.
So i should mess with making my own for hours ? Yours looks to be good color and size with clear cover.
Just depends on how picky you want to be and if you want to spend hours making it. Most people seem to be content to just have a decal on the door even if it doesn't match the original. Honestly no one will ever see it anyway so I can understand their point of view.
Well, i need two. I have two 72 4sp cars that i think were made 10 days apart from each other, or thereabouts. I am not so good at that sort of thing. could you make me some or know who to buy from? thanx
