Chevelle TH-400 loops are at powder coat. Should have them Monday, 8/22. TH-350/4 speed prototype is made. Will be test fit Wednesday, 8/24. Production TH-350/4speed should be ready about 9/14. I will have all styles available at the Pure Stock race in Stanton. Thanks
The 4spd application is for GM A-body applications, correct? My application should be the same as that - I have a G-body (69' GP) 4spd. If so I'll pick one up in Stanton.
Application is specific to the type of crossmember as well. BOP A bodies used stamped crossmembers, Chevy made their's from tubing. 70's F bodies used tubing also.
I just installed mine on my 72 GS which has a 455 with a TH350 behind it. The loop fit like a glove. Great product.
   Joe, you should see the load of crap I get with the Olds guys when I tell them the 70-72 Cutlass Supreme used a G body on an A body chassis. Unlike the Grand Prix and Monte Carlo, we didn't go with the extended front frame...already had the Toronado..turned out to be one of the best packages Oldsmobile ever produced...
Got my Chevelle TH400 loop today, hoping to install it next week when I have access to a lift. Will post some pictures to this thread.
Intrested in one for 70 with 455 and 400. Tried to PM but your box is full. Price plus shipping to 19050. Is Pay-Pal OK?? Thanks
A couple of folks looking for '73-'77 loops, you can come over measure the '73 GS 455 in my garage if you need to.
Beautiful part! I wish someone would make something like this for 62-67 Novas. There are a LOT of these cars out there, and NO ONE makes anything that is a bolt-in (drill or no-drill).
Hahahaha...just saw this, forgot I never got back with you...Fit like a glove, looks great, clearances are perfect. Was on the Ramrod when it ran at Stanton. Going to have the flange removed on the H pipe on my 66 4 speed car as it's in direct interference, then I'll buy one for it if they're still available in the Spring. Think we finally will have that ready for Factory Stock at Martin...Then again, I've been sayiong that for 10 years....LOL. Only one more nagging issue, apparently too much fuel pressure and overpowering the float pin. Understand that was an issue on the 66 L69's. Will get at that in the spring time. Will post a pic on the Olds forum and remind people about them. More and more people starting to have fun with their Olds rather than just talking about them all the time...LOL..
Mine is the stock Skylark crossmember that came with the 340 and a ST300 in 1966. If you need pics and dimensions let me know. I'm running a 3.5" OD drive shaft if that matters. Alan
