Hi Nelson, I have one that's 52 inches long .I just sold one a couple months ago and I shipped in a cardboard tube.Let me know what you want to do.I'm sure if you get from your area it will be cheaper.Bruno.

70 automatics take a two piece. A 4 speed car would take a one piece

Jay, thanks. Yes I know that but I still want a one piece if possible.

Just have 1 made. They normally are not crazy expensive. The one for my car was done locally by a place called custom clutch and joint. They have since moved to Hillard Ohio. They only need a few measurements. Mike does great work reseasonable

Got a guy in Mogadore Ohio, near akron that does them too, I think I paid $300 for mine. I have a couple, not sure what they're off of. Get me a length.

I have one, but, it needs to be shortened for your application

The correct one is a ONE-piece shaft. This one is from the 70 Stage1 auto that I parted in the fall. It is 55” center of joint to center of joint. I have 2 or 3 more just like this, but nicer.

I didn't realize any 455 GS (std. or S1) came w/a 2 piece. Oddly I pulled a one piece from a '70 Skylark and another from a '72 Skylark convertible (both 350/auto/Flint built). Both pretty unmolested cars & I assume orig.
