But help from the wife will be soooo much more fun! Lay lots of blankets over the engine and fenders!

She's actually a pretty good helper and definitely can handle lifting large objects;). We move our last two houses our selves, couches and all together :)

I found one up here but it was over $300CDN by the time I got it here which would be approximately the same in US$$ but would take twice as long to recieve it. I'm thinking I can make one for a 1/4 of the price and time.

That's my thought as well, as shipping that thing to Germany would be an arm and a leg. Thanks Brix, for your post, so that the idea in my head got kicked off :).

Here is the easiest way to remove and install an engine with transmission in the car.

Yes you are correct ^^^^ going down the rabbit hole and stripping the car clean is the easiest way, not the cheapest but definitely the easiest :p:D:rolleyes:

Yeah if core support etc is not on car putting whole engine/trans in together is way to go otherwise I do separate.

Even though a carb plate lifter centers it real nicely I would never use one with an aluminum intake....bolts just too small into aluminum....stock iron intake likely fine though....
