Englishtown Buick Weekend

Hi, Any talk about Buick performance weekend at Englishtown NJ Raceway Park. Unfortunately it seems to be the same weekend as
Hemmings MusclePalooza at Lebanon Valley Dragway Sept. 3,2006

 

Ya, that sucks. Why do the two events I like to attend have to be on the same day!

 

I hope that the weather is nice and not thermo nuclear hot !!!!
Other than that, I can't wait to go!!!! ( Im only 15 minutes away)

Does anybody know what the rain date policy is, if any. Local weather for the whole weekend isn't good, depending on where Ernesto goes.......

 

shouda been at musclepaqlooza earlier it was OK not like last year TOO MANY DATES NOT ENOUGH TIME, It should be 1 weekend only!! E-town and the Buicks and all the muscle cars E=town is the place TO BE Lebanon is nice nowhere like E town and the facilities and the surrounding area or the ride,or the people Fri Etc

If E-town is a wash they will pick a rain date probably in November. Let's hope we can get it in. Soon as I know something I will have it posted or check the E-town website.

called the track today, they said as of now it was on but call sat in the morning for sure.

 

Does anyone know the deal for Sunday(weather permitting) or is the whole weekend getting a rain date.

The car show was rained out today and is not going to be rescheduled. As of now Sunday looks good for the racing. I am down at the Best Western in New Brunswick and the winds have let up and the rain is starting to die down. Hope to see you guys tomorrow.

I'd like to take my '66 Special just to hang out.....anybody know if the $15 pit pass will allow me to park in the pits, or do I have to pay the $30 'racer' fee for the preee-mo parking?

I don't especially want to race the Special, as it's probaply embarrisingly slow with the li'l 300 cid 'pinhead'. We'll see.....

Go to the E-Town web site and open the "event information" link. $30 is only if you want to race. Otherwise, I'm seeing $15.00 for pit side.
