Latest shroud. The top edge is pretty even now with the new mold. I noticed the radiator I'd been using has the two shroud mounting flanges at different heights. Just off a little, but it is noticable. That's why I shot a picture with my shroud on a flat board.
That one goes to the guy that brought me all the busted up pieces He needed two. If you really are interested in one, I can lay one up after this weekend. I have to get my GS hood mounted and painted!

Production can really start any time. I just finished painting my new style glass GS cowl hood today. I have to water sand it and buff it out tomorrow. Toss it back on the car next weekend. Should be complete Saturday. I'll start polishing the shroud mold up for another part. Once it's complete, I'll see who wants it. I was on a site where a guy sells shrouds for a V-6 Jeep and he was asking $150 for his 'glass shroud. That seems a bit pricey, IMO. I was thinking $115 plus S/H. As for S/H, the box would only be a few bucks and the part is light so I can't imagine shipping would be that much. If I get a chance tomorrow, I'll run to one of those shipping places and take the shroud. Get a box and if anyone wants to shoot me a zip code, I'll get some estimates. Made another one last weekend. I was checking on shipping, man, it's not as bad as shipping one of my hoods, but I guess everything has gone up! I found a place that will make me a box, because I couldn't find anything in stock that's close. UPS wanted to sell me a box for $12 and I had to cut it up and make it fit. This one guy will make the box for $10. I need to check other shippping avenues today and tomorrow, just to go from AZ to Southern CA was $38-$42 depending on final weight (which isn't much!) :ball: So dropping the shroud off at this other place today, get a box made and some more shipping quotes.
They cost what they cost. Shipping is expensive and we surely appreciate your taking the time to get the best rates for us. You should be able to find some boxes at a local body shop or U-Haul, maybe. Jim
OK, going to a packing & shipping broker saaved money. To your zip, it'd cost ~$34.00, That's the shipping and the box I have made for it.

The message was all broken up and I could barely understand any of the info, I'd hear "shroud" and "Buick" so I assume it was someone I've been talking with on here. If it's you, can you call me back :TU: I have two shrouds completed and spoken for, but haven't completed any payments yet. I'll start on another one this weekend and post when it's complete.
