Finally got the 18x10” 295/40 rears on the ‘68

Been a while. I forgot to post these pics up. The 18x10” 5.97” BS with 295/40-18 Falken RT615 tuck in nicely. Really centered in the wheel tub. I had to adjust the exhaust just a little bit.

I like this setup.The color looks nice on the car too. could use a pair of dark stripes on the tar though.;]

 

These modern wheel/tire combos have rally grown on me.

beautiful , i would just get rid of the chrome grill and get a GS grill... that will complete the package..

 

Looking good! I assume you needed to shave the inner lip of the rear wheel wells to get those tires in there?

 

That’s a great combo of slick and sinister. I agree, a ‘68 GS grill would really set it off.

I might have to look for that ‘68 Grill y’all. This one is kinda bling blingy

 

I’m not sure how much trimming exactly, but the inners were massaged a little and you can see the line marked where the fenders were rolled here.
