Anyone with more knowledge on this, have a guesstimate on what the car, as it was in the video, would do in the 1/4? there's only 1 1/4 track in all of Iowa (that im aware of) and it's 3.5 hours 1 way away from me. My guess is it would be in the high 14s at.. maybe 95mph?

You’re racing a Buick in IA.!!! Wow I thought I was the ONLY one. Congratulations on your win, hopefully you will come back for more. I race at the I-29 dragway in pacific Junction Ia.
Come over sometime and we can have Buick gathering.
You’re 1/8 mile times transfer to 16.20 or 16.30 1/4 mile times. FYI

Your 10.3 at 72 MPH equates to 16.32 @ 89 MPH in the 1/4. Depending on what the RPM range of your cam is, you might try shifting into 2nd gear at about 5000 RPM to see if that improves your times. Also, as you know, you need a 3 series gear and perhaps a little higher stall converter. Your combo probably should run at least in the high 14s with simple mods. Most important thing is to have fun.

    Congrats!
Weird tree? Not a full tree but not really a pro tree. I see no yellows come on even with a pro tree....just straight to green.

Also, all 4 runs (in 1st gear) were SUPER consistent. 10.3, 10.34, 10.35, and 10.4 ranging from 71-72.5 mph. 60 foot time was all about 2.4-2.5 seconds and best reaction time of my 5 total passes (4 in 1st, 1 in drive, slowest at 10.9 at 65) passes was .86 seconds.

I was planning on going to Eddyville next weekend on the test and tune but won’t be around for that. The same night there is a cruise in Wapallo Iowa so was going to try and do both.

Nice! Congrats. An easy way to ballpark 1/8 to 1/4 mile is: Take your 1/8 mile time and divide it by .63. Unless the car is a really weird set-up, that'll get you close.
