This is a picture of our first sample. It is a 65-72 shift boot for a car without console.

I will post more info as I get it.

Me too. You guys are repoping the ring as well right? I've hated the Hurst super boot the second I put it in. Thanks Joe

Well, it's been about three months. Wonder how the Parts Place is doing with their repro shift boot.

Are Fusick and the Parts Place getting these from the same manufacturer?

From the pictures I've seen, the Fusick Olds boot looks larger than the Buick boot.....

I did buy a boot from Fusick, it arrived last week. It's larger than my original 1966 GS boot, but will work fine in my '66 Special!

WQhat about the lower that we all need. I have a consolette and want the correct one for lower and upper. I believe that the lowers and the ring are all the same.

That boot is not correct for a 65 w/o console. I'll post a picture of an original later.

Mark, is there a pn molded into your '65 boot?
The 65-67's used a shifter with a round handle, not rectangular (like a Hurst shifter). So this repo technically is not correct for any 65-67 GS.
Unfortunately, it's probably the closest we'll ever have....

BTW, pics of an original '66 Non-console boot are here:

    Walt,

I checked - no molded in number that I could find. Your right about the round handle, and the bellows look totally different. See pic:
