Fixing hood inserts

    Wrap some blue painters tape around that boss and fill it with JB Weld. Once it's dried, sand it and drill a new hole

    Jim, check out an old post on the site here that may help you out. I know member "Wheels" used to do this repair a lot and sold some sets to members ( I followed his work/post when I did mine several years ago) :
    70-72 GS Hood SCOOP inserts REBUILT!!!
