a while ago i picked up some ford 1.7 rollers. first glance they look workable. gutted one for size id. had to buy a reamer for buick size. reamed the hole and put it on a 350 set up. looks good. the p/rod side will need to machined for adjustable screws. they will be like the alum buick rockers on the shaft. no bearings.
GSJohnny, They may work, but won't be centered without an offset. The Buick pushrod spacing is narrower than the valve stem spacing. You may be able to widen the pushrod holes a little and get most of the roller on the valve stem. The Chevy aftermarket 1.6 I recommended to Jim Blackwood are offset. Originally designed for aftermarket aluminum Chevy heads. You could get a set of those and ream out to fit the Buick shafts.
have 1.65 t/a rollers already. 1.7 is not available. i am a mfg r&d/exp machinist by trade. built machines, processes, tool standards, etc with that, my projects are never done. always looking for more. hurts the pocketbook some days. jim, will look at them. hopefully not price crazy fwiw, i had 3 sets of stg 2 rollers for a v6. sold them. i have 2 different sets of rollers for a regular v6. they will go on the twin v6 altered.
John's place (& the man himself) is super interesting even w/o having a Buick 350 dragster to check out.
