i found A clean original 1972 buick skylark 350 in one of those car donation places, i asked the guy to sell it, eventually paying $1750 for it. im in the process of restoring it, and i plan to document most of the things i doing.
sence these pictures were taken, i have wetsanded and buffed the car, (remarkable how much better the paint looks) installed new sterring wheel, minor rust removal, remove old carpet, geting new from year one, getting vinel top removed, due to rust issues with rear window. more pic's soon
'72 Skylark Nice car. Appears to be in very good condition. What is the paint code for that '72 "green"? Sure looks like a familiar green to me.........John
Man, that is an exact duplicate of my first Skylark. I would have bought it for sentimental reasons alone!
ya its preaty good and runs well, its seamist green i also have loads of the original paper work that was in the glove box, i can post them if anyone is interested
Nice find- and at a good price to boot. Personally I dont care for the granny green, but hey, these things are getting too rare to be picky about color... We take 'em when and where we can find 'em. I pulled one out of a junkyard today, granny green also, paid $350 for it. No engine or tranny, but otherwise complete and relatively rust free. Good luck with it :TU:
http://www.donate-a-car.org i was driving down the highway, and spoted the rear of the car hidden in a mess of other cars :eek2: , i didnt immedeately reconize it as a buick, but i realized it was a -70's A body so i went over to take a look, sure ennough a 1972 buick skylark was there for my taking  i asked them to hold it for me, i returned the next day a bought it
72 lark A local "donation" place in my area wants $4500 for a nearly identical 72 triple green post car. Nice score! :TU:
sorry about me not posting pic's ive been busy with school and such, here are some more pictures of what it looks like without the vinel top, im going to be working on fixing the rust in the rear window these next few days, i will take some pictures as well
