Between now and the 18th of September I plan to pull this engine and tranny from my extra frame. We're keeping the trans, but would love to have someone get this engine for a core or whatever. Someone come and get it before it gets wasted.

Goodlettsville, TN 37072 and I'd be surprised if you couldn't find a nice core close to your home. Buick 350's are pretty common around here.

When would you need it picked up? The same day it comes out or could you wait for a weekend? It is only about 4 hours from my folks.
The motor should be picked up ASAP after it is removed, preferably within a week or two. This engine is/was from a parts car, I have no idea of its condition other than to say it wasnt running when I got it. As the pictures show it is complete. For sure the car has sat outdoors for several years so the engine may be stuck. Still it's likely a good buildable core, but at minimum should provide some usable parts. Bottom line...It's free and you get what you see. MooseBear-Let me know what you want to do and we'll move on.

Thanks for the offer of the 350. I will not be able to pick it up by the 18th. Every truck is taken. I will have to pass to the next person.
Got the engine out, but it's windowed! Looks like #7 rod behind the LH exhaust manifold. It's still free if someone wants it. Lots of good parts, exhaust manifolds, AC brackets, starter, bolts etc, etc.
