Need to replace the front springs on my 72 GS 350. Installing UMI tubular control arms and just want new beings the ones in the car are over 20 years old. Rockauto recommends Moog 5536. Thoughts?

I have 5536s in the front of my 70' 455 Skylark. I like em.

Sturdy , yet allow plenty of weight transfer to the rear at the track....Jim

Not to jump into this posting I also have a question on front springs. I have a 71 GS with 462, no air car, 4 speed with Moog 5536 and no problem. Now my 72 GS455 automatic with air, I was thinking to go with Moog 5450 since it can support more weight then Mood 5536 at the same height. Does anyone have a photo or recommends Moog 5450.

I have used this company in the past and I just got new springs for the front and rear of my 67 convertible. I cant show pics yet because shes still up in the air and I am waiting on the engine install. You will have to call them, they ask if you want +/- inches or if you have ac. They make them in st marys kansas USA company which is why I used them. Both sets cost about 500 but they are quality parts, I told them to check google for their search settings because it took me 5 search pages before I found them again LOL

i would like to get in on this post, please... my question about front springs also. i replaced my gs 455 with 5536 springs ( neew ones) and some coil overs on the rear. the coil overs raised the back about 3 inches. now i want to raise the front 2-3 inches. what spring, if any, would do this, or is there another way to raise the front.
