Planning on filling quadrajet bowl and getting gas to the supply hose using blow gun. Should be enough for mechanical fuel pump to prime.
I just use a cheap condiment squirt bottle with gas in it. I think it cost $1.50 from Dollar General. Squirt it down the bowl vent hole, to fill the float bowl. Doesn't take more than 20-25% of the bottle volume. When the engine fires up from the gas in the float bowl, the fuel pump will pull it up from the tank.
