Ok so my son definitely has the fastest car in his high school. Damn this is a beast. Got the 373 posi in and some new 295 50 15s on. All it wants to do is spin. Don't get me wrong your still moving real fast but you can hardly look at the throttle in first. It will smoke them at 50 if you pin it. So how do we get traction now??
Or is this just big block life lol. I would suspect maybe a fat set of slicks is all that might help now. Rear suspension is stock. Would love to see what it would do if you could stand on it from a stop and hook up.
Got the new carpet in. "New" old windows and regulators in courtesy of New Mex Guy.
Got speedo hooked up but it is way fast and looks like I don't see the correct speedo gears for th350 with 373s with a 26.6 or 28 tire. Think we might get a complete stand alone digital dash from Jegs. That will solve all gauge issues in 1.

Yes father son times have been great. Now that's he's driving it it is even better. Driving around town with me in my Skylark and him in his in next lane feels really sweeeeeet. Get lots of looks when you have two Skylarks lined up at the stop lights.

Little bondo to the top to fill in holes
Will cut off and replace someday
Can tell I'm a technician not a body guy
    Never done any bondo before
Kinda has a learning curve to it
Best thing is you can just sand down and add more
Will just keep going until looks decent
    Doesn't have holes anymore that's a start

Got a digital stand alone dash from Jegs
Mounted over top the original gauges
Could remove and would be able to tell
Has fuel, oil psi, cool temp, batt, rpm, mph
Will record high speed, 0 to 60 and quarter mile times
Came with sensors and all wiring
Just had to make a plate to mount it to
