What color red is the GS emblems suppose to be? Looks like one of the "previous" owners used some sort of pink nail polish to paint the emblems. God it's awful!! :error:
Well, there is a nail polish color that is correct, but I don't remember the name, but I know "The Old Guy" has it sitting in his garage on the shelf on the right side, west side, maybe he will go out and see what color it is tomorrow?? I think it's on the shelf to the south, on the 2nd shelf from the floor or middle shelf, he'll find it, or call me over to show it to him! It's fun harrassing "The Old Guy", keeps him perfect, or close! Love ya, JT, only in fun! RV
ladies: i used testor's red 1103 , in the small bottle . used a very small hobbyist paint brush . i removed the old paint with a little toluene/lacquer thinner + qtips & a very small screwdriver , being careful not to scratch the surface . applied 2 coats of paint turned out great !
Thanks Stew. I'll check that out. Gonna be a long hard winter here and I'll need something to occupy my time. BTW: I'm a male cat. :TU:
What would be the Testor's numbers for the White and Blue??? Thanks in Advance BTW.....I'm queen aka female cat. :Brow:
If you are talking about the fender emblems, GM still carried them last time i checked....new chrome, new paint, price isn't even bad... later tim
never had to paint the fender & trunk emblems . replaced them instead as they were a bit pitted . u would have to go to a hobby shop & compare your blue to a testor blue or check on testor's online site .
