I have not seen these advertised, but they may have been out for a while and I missed them... https://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-1972-...:Buick&hash=item521bd2ca88:g:pnYAAOSwto5cyg-z
Looks like a plastic beaded factory original it would cost a fortune along for the molds to make all three pieces.
What Frank says is most likely true, I've seen this before with TPP. It's the old bait and switch trick. I've done some biz' with them for a long time. What you see is not always what you get. One of the first things I bought for my 70 GS was an AC hose. It looked great in the pic, exactly like original, just dirty. It said NEW, so I bought it. What I got looked nothing like the picture, clearly it was a repro piece. I look back at the picture listed, now I look really close and can see it's a pretty clean, used, original. Caveat emptor!
Wow I am shocked they even attempted this repro. Will be interesting to see if anyone has one they can report about
Maybe I live in a cave but I didn't know they made the Hood Grille Plates / Part # BP12797S $99 https://www.thepartsplaceinc.com/interactive-catalog#book/page/170-171
I do stock these and did do a review on them for anyone wanting to read it. This should be the link > http://www.v8buick.com/index.php?th...-air-inlet-assembly-pics-and-comments.347760/
So, I have the main part for a 72 and the right triangle shape base but I need the other side. But what do I do about the air cleaner base since the non GS air cleaner base has a longer horn.
