Got my Fitech going on my daily driver, and am playing with my electric fan on/off settings. Using the Fitech to turn them on and off and have a 160 degree thermostat. Where are you guys that are using your efi or other control turning your fans on and off? Thermostat temp? Somewhere above or below? Only been running it for 3 days and hasn't been hot enough out for a good test to see how it acts in traffic when warm, but right now I've got it coming on at 172 and off at 165 and seems to be ok, but as I said it's only been in the mid 40s here....thanks for your help!

im not EFI yet but I run a 180 thermostat and have both my electric fans turn on at 190. Works great and I plan to keep that same temp setup when I swap to EFI.

I use a Holley Terminator EFI and I set the ECU to turn the fan on at 200 and off at 195. This is with an LS crate engine. At cruise with the fan off the temp stays at a consistent range of 192-195 (as displayed on the Holley LCD). I believe the factory thermostat is rated at 187 degrees F.

That is about where I've got mine in relationship to the thermostat, too. Did some more testing last night and let the truck idle in the driveway for 15 minutes when it was around 55 degrees out after a good 1/2 hour drive. With my current settings, it's getting up to 175 after the fan kicks on and will just hang between there and 180, which I'm happy with. Just going to have to wait for some warmer temps and hopefully it'll keep up. Thanks again for your info and help, fellas.
