Bringing it back again So what are you doing this weekend? Yesterday we brought the Supercat out of its den in the corner of the garage. It's been in the corner for about 3.5 years. Only to be looked at 2 or 3 times. I haven't sat in it since October of 2016 the last time I drove it. After the last year and a half I need to make a pass. Hoping for a good year to Honor Steven. Today we polish the chassis and give the body panels a wash and glaze. Clean up the engine a bit and see what needs to be done before BG. We take it to Epping, NH tomorrow for its 6.0 chassis cert. I'll snap a few shots later as we clean it up. So let's hear what you are up to. Have a great day
Going to work on tiling a customers shower for 2-3 hours this morning and weather permitting work on emptying my garage out and start prepping it for a new concrete poured floor and apron. Keith
Working this afternoon, and working on buick stuff/ dads cars while having a nice beer to end the day. Maybe some fishing tomorrow if its nice out
Going to put my new axle in (thanks james) and put all the rr wheel brakes on. Then maybe order my master/booster combo for next saturdays project.
My wife and I are going to our granddaughter’s birthday party in a few minutes. It’s a beautiful day down here in South Florida and the party is being held at a local park. Her birthday is really next weekend, but my son and all of his friends are going to Peanut Island for what the locals call “Floatopia.” It’s just a million boaters having a big party with lots of hot looking chicks getting drunk and lewd. I know, I know... Smokey15 wants pictures already. You’ll have to wait till next weekend Jerry.
Continuing the '60's engine refurb. Currently making the plug wires, hopefully have it all together and running tomorrow. Buddy of mine is having a house warming barbecue this afternoon, so will be going to that.
Happy to see this thread come back! Hoping to button up the GN engine this weekend and set back in the car.
Yesterday I picked up the new gas fireplace I ordered from a neighboring state that hasn’t got 10% sales tax like mine. Between that and spring sale price saved over a grand from buying it during the winter. Was defiantly worth the 350 mile round trip. Just wrapped up the install and fired it up.
Went to the World of Wheels car show this afternoon. https://maxmotive.com/event/60th-annual-maxmotive-world-of-wheels/
Some progress. Chassis is ready for cert tomorrow and zoomies are clean. They were nasty after its hibernation.
Hate to spoil a spring tradition, but I'll be test running my snowblower tomorrow as there's a winter storm headed my way. Forecast models are uncertain as to how much white stuff will fall. anywhere from a couple inches to 6 or 8, depending on the storm track. I'd rather be doing just about anything else......
