Super Bald Menace Frame off oil changes

Made up the last 2 brake lines for my 66 project. Not sure if I'm totally satisfied with them so I'll sleep on it and decided tomorrow.

Gotta get ready for the first test and tune of the spring here. New electric fans in, fresh oil change. Need to do something with the kickdown solenoid, I've read that having it functional will raise my shift points a bit when in drive, but I don't know that for a fact. I get 4000 1-2 and about 3800 2-3 at WOT. 20210406_105241.jpg

Stared blankly at a pile of parts. Went back inside and had a beer.

Thanks! The boys are 4 and 6, so they play with cars and the train set daily.

It's show time down here in Florida. 150 car Apopka Florida show and we were able to coordinate 4 big block Buicks in a prime parking spot and the only Buick there. We had a blast mingling with other musclecar owners and talking Buicks all day.

Well, with my local track (Capitol Raceway) closing at the end of 2019 and all of the Covid-19 malarkey I didn’t even touch the drag car or move the trailer that it sits in last year.
If I’m going to make a big push to get to BG this year, then I figure it’s time to get busy. Some idiot (Me) parked my Lonestar in front of the drag trailer over a year ago and I never even fired that up last year either. Some idiot (not Me) put 4 new batteries in the Lonestar in September but he didn’t put any protective grease on all of the terminals. I figured I’d have to jump it but with the corrosion on the contacts it wouldn’t take a jump or a charge! ARRGHH! So before I can move the trailer to unload the car and begin to take a car out of a two year hibernation, I have to disconnect and clean 4 group 30 batteries underneath a 2010 International Lonestar! See Pics...

    Gotta start somewhere!

Bill's Auto Works QUALITY AT ITS BEST!

No Buicks at the moment, so I am working on a couple from "sister" divisions.

Having recently shot the 67 Toro, I just yesterday finished up wet sanding & buffing all the pieces that were painted off the car. Now before I do the shell, I will pull the exhaust, scrub & pressure wash the underside today, so I can shoot it with chassis black tomorrow. Also, like Lucas trying to finish up the engine compartment on the 64 GP so I can debut the car at a show the week of June that I enjoy going to!!

    God bless
    Bill

Thats how ya "kill the Tree"

Other than replace the temp sending unit for the sniper in the Wildcat I di nothing car related. Basically just screwed off most of the day. Helped the wife with a couple small task, went grocery shopping solo for the first time in a very long time. Sticker shock and surprised at the empty shelves. Spent nearly twice what I thought it would cost.

Everyday I log on hoping to see a message saying my Tomahawk is on its way. Nope, not today!

John, I don't pull it with that, doesn't even have a Class 3/4 receiver on it.
But that sure would be nice to park at the campgrounds at Beech Bend!
All I would need is a bathroom and a shower. :D:D

I used to have a Wally-Mo 4 car wedge type trailer that I hauled cars with but I like being able to keep tools and parts etc. inside an enclosed trailer.

Today went well. 350 mile round trip to Epping with a trailer I'm selling to a board member. All works as it should.
Supercat has a new 6.0 second cert and passed 5.99 and quicker :D just have to add 1 kidney bar like I figured.
Hoping all is going well with the folks working on getting ready for BG
