Aside from the ubiquitous FelPro gaskets, are there any other off the shelf options?
I've had copper head gaskets cut from a felpro template,
I believe the MLS 4.6L Rover gaskets should work but at about $300 a set they are quite pricey.
    Anyone know of other options?

i've used felpro, mccord and victor h/g's. never an issue with any of them. because of the big bore, part of the h/g ring sits inside of the bore.
you would think with rpm and blower, it would blow all the time. just once after all these years.

Thanks guys. Johnny I especially appreciate that feedback from you due to the blower.

Cometec tends to be kinda expensive, and I've seen them priced per gasket which put them in the $200 range.
TA only has them in complete gasket sets and they are felpro. RockAuto carries a top end set for about $60.
